DescriptionJob Summary: Role is responsible to welcome guests as they enter a show or concert and give assistance to guests as they are being seated. Entertainment Greeters are required to interact with guests, Team Members, and supervisors on a daily basis. Additionally, Entertainment Greeters are required to continuously work outdoors and closely with others. Greeters occasionally will work alone and will always be exposed to direct sunlight dust, dirt, and water. Greeter must be able to function in all weather conditions including extreme heat and extreme cold for long periods of time.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to promote the park with the utmost enthusiasm and pride while setting up equipmentAnalyze situations and use excellent judgment and decision making abilityWork in close proximity to potentially large crowds of peopleLearn large amounts of knowledge about the park and use this is communication with othersMust swipe in and out each day to receive correct pay for the weekMaintain proper attendanceEnsure guest safety and satisfaction in their stay at Six FlagsEnsure standards of performance for all areas within their responsibilities are metMaintain a clean working environment both in guest view and behind the scenesResolve guest concerns that may arise on a daily basisRespond to any emergency situation in the areaEnsure that image, cleanliness and courtesy standards are metRefrain from consuming any substance that may impair judgmentCooperate with all team members and managersComplete any and all tasks as requested by Six Flags ManagementSkills and Qualifications:Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentSafety consciousOutgoing and friendly demeanorWilling to actively engage guestsAt least 16 years of ageMust have excellent customer service skillsAble to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English languageAvailable to work flexible hours at nights and on weekendsRequires continuous sitting, standing, bending, hand/eye coordination, near vision, hearing and speech. Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills.
