JOB SUMMARYSpectrum Mobile is the fastest growing mobile provider in the nation. It continues to grow the number of Mobile stores and this position plays a vital role in the company’s expansion. The Retail Planning Analyst will contribute to creating a product strategy that drive sales but manages inventory risks. The role will be responsible for analyzing large data sets and implementing strategies to replenish mobile devices and accessories to Mobile stores. The Retail Planning Analyst will also monitor the processes and accuracy of the 3PL vendor and create management dashboards that share data-driven insights.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESImplements replenishment strategies and policies to achieve in-stock targets but minimizes excess inventory. Uses inventory data from stores to identify store performance and runs analyses to assist team in increasing supply targets and/or rebalancing stock.Monitors 3PL vendor on day-to-day replenishment activities to check for data accuracy and ensure that processes follow the agreed upon methodologies.Works closely with Product and Store teams to capture and record store planograms and new store launch schedules into MS Access tables.Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunitiesCreates dashboards at a weekly level by compiling data from a variety of sources to inform management on key performance indicators. Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to improve the reporting platform.Actively seeks out opportunities to continuously improve replenishment methods through data analysis and collaboration with Retail, Operations, and Product partners.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeStrong math and analytical skillsAdvance knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
