This internship offers a unique Teleworking opportunity to prepare human resources policy research, review and development in preparation for future human resources career.
Intern would review and identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency for human resources business policies and procedures and processes under the supervision of Employee Relations staff. The successful candidate may, at times, be requested to attend virtual meetings, and meetings pertaining to policy improvement and policy preparation, including working policy groups.
Primary responsibilities of selected intern candidate will pertain to policies and procedures updates, which includes the ability to research and write policy with assistance of supervisor. Laws, Rules and Regulations involved will pertain to day to day human resource functions.
Must be available to work a minimum of 8-10 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday.
Preferred commitment of at least one full semester or equivalent to 16- week commitment for successful intern candidate at a minimum of 8-10 hours per week.
