Registered Nurses (RN) at the Vermont Veterans’ Home (VVH) develop and manage nursing care plans, as well as instruct patients and their families in proper treatment for the highest level of function/quality of life. We provide person-centered care and all residents/families are encouraged to be active participants. We provide clinical oversight along with a wide range of services for long-term and short-stay admissions.
We currently have a day and night position available, with flexibility to hire at either the RN I or RN II level depending upon qualifications. These positions are eligible for benefits. The hours for the day position are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm; totaling 32 hours per week. The hours for the night position are 10:00 pm – 6:30 am, totaling 24 hours per week. Both positions include working weekends & holidays.
- RN I hourly rates – Day Shift: $30.86, Night Shift: $33.11
- RN II hourly rates – Day Shift: $33.88, Night Shift: $36.13

Possession of (or eligible for) licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vermont.
College senior in the final semester of an accredited school of nursing program. (Graduation from the program must occur prior to hire and continued employment will be contingent on the employee passing the Nursing Licensure Exam (NCLEX).
