All of the work OppNet leads is in service of realizing our vision of a nation connected through vibrant communities and networks actively in pursuit of social justice and educational equity – a nation where all young people can freely create their own path to enduring success that honors their passions, ambitions, and full identities.The OpportunityWe are looking for an exceptional Partnerships Program Intern to assist the OppNet Partnerships team in developing and customizing virtual and in-person training modules for students, educators, and corporate employer partners. In addition, the Partnerships Program Intern will play a supporting role in project management. This is a year-long opportunity to be part of a team expanding an innovative program model that will impact thousands of students across the country.ResponsibilitiesContent DevelopmentSupport in the development of virtual and in-person modules that aim to foster inclusive and diverse work environments for corporate partners. The modules will map directly to best practices for working with interns and employees who identify as first-generation college graduates and people of color;Work creatively to develop new strategies and continuously improve Career Fluency® curriculum for high school and college students in accordance with OppNet’s mission and pedagogy;Translate in-person OppNet curriculum into virtual lessons to increase the accessibility of materials and content for young people across the countryProject ManagementSupport the Partnerships team in effectively implementing Career Fluency ® offerings, which includes updating training and marketing materials such as PowerPoint presentations and one-pagers, overseeing workshop logistics, and recording data into Salesforce;Codify and standardize best practices among Partnerships workflow streams;Opportunity to assist with new partner development, including crafting marketing collateral and conducting research on value-aligned organizations and schools for partnershipThe PersonThe ideal candidate will personally connect to the important work we do and value diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).
