This entry level position supports multiple specialty publications in the Healio News group.The Editorial Assistant will assist staff with preparing transcriptions, writing news articles, interview requests, tracking analytics, promoting content on social media, posting stories online and drafting newswires. A highly qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a comparable background, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and superb organizational and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will also possess an ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to varying workloads. All candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. Remote applicants will be considered.
