Two postdoctoral research associate positions are available immediately in Prof. Aiming Yu lab in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine at University of California – Davis, School of Medicine, located in Sacramento the capital city of California. Our research focuses on xenobiotic/endobiotic metabolism and disposition, bioanalysis, PK/PD, anticancer pharmacology and experimental therapy. A one-of-a-kind RNA bioengineering technology invented in Prof. Yu lab and the resultant true biologic RNA agents will be used in these studies. The successful candidates will have a solid background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular or Cell Biology or other related disciplines. Experience in drug metabolism and disposition, microRNAs, anticancer pharmacology and therapeutics would be highly beneficial. Desirable technical skills include those in cell/tissue culture, manipulation of DNA/RNA/protein, mouse handling and use, LC-MS/MS analysis, or/and confocal microscopy imaging.
