Take a look at career opportunities at Viasat today.Job ResponsibilitiesAs an RF/Microwave Engineer Intern you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and test 1 to 60 GHz MMICs and/or multi-chip modules for existing products and advanced new product development programs. Your design could work with including power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, filters, and IC packages. This intern will work on MMIC design work with state of the art GaAs, GaN, and InP foundry processes. You will be trained in MMIC and/or module design and work on a collaborative team of electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineers to ensure successful product development and transfer to production.RequirementsCurrently pursuing a Master’s Degree or higher in Electrical EngineeringRF Microwave experienceMillimeter wave experienceCoursework and foundational knowledge designing mixers, oscillators, low noise and power amplifiers, etc.Ability to commit to a 10-12 week summer internshipTo learn more about this site and other office locations, please click here!
