Your contribution:

Our eCommerce team is responsible for managing all aspects of our online initiatives. This internship position is a great opportunity for a student majoring in Marketing, or another related field to gain hands on experience working with Wakefern’s Digital Commerce team. In this position, the intern will be responsible for assisting the Digital Commerce staff’s daily activities in support of our strategies and tactics to meet our divisional and corporate objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with innovation and new on platform enhancements, integration of additional digital capabilities (including QA)
  • Product content management (imagery, pricing, description) and maintenance for multiple banners
  • Image processing and formatting
  • Digital Circular QA, product matching and pricing review on a weekly basis
  • Management of vendor product submissions
  • Brand Bank Data/Digital Asset Management

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work with strict deadline
  • Enthusiastic collaborator with a positive attitude
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have completed 24 college credits with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or better
  • Will be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school
  • Successful completion of a substance abuse test is required
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint required Knowledge of Lotus Notes and Access a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license and flexibility with regard to travel required
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and customer service skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentation)
  • Ability to exhibit proper business etiquette when dealing with all levels of the organization
  • Previous work experience in a retail environment is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
