Title VI Equity Specialist (Program Specialist 5)

Multiple Locations, Statewide

$61,224- $82,344 Annually

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Title VI Equity Specialist (Program Specialist 5) to serve as the statewide subject matter expert with agency wide responsibility for the administration, direction, and oversight of WSDOT’s Title VI Program. The Title VI Equity Specialist ensures all agency programs, activities and services are equitable and implemented on a non-discriminatory fashion. This position is also responsible for ensuring the agencies activities, program and services do not have a disproportionate or disparate impact on individuals protected by the civil rights act of 1964. This position works to further Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion throughout the agency. This position is also responsible for ensuring the Agency’s Environmental Justice Programs and Limited English Proficiency Programs are implemented to USDOT and USDOJ standards.
