The World AIDS Museum and Educational Center is seeking a volunteer or intern who wants experience in non-profit development, marketing, and public relations. The volunteer or intern will assist museum staff with managing fundraising campaigns for the Museum, as well as marketing Museum programs and exhibits, and promoting public interest through various media outlets. The position will include research on potential donors for the Museum and creating content for social media to raise awareness of the Museum and its programs. Hours vary with Museum program schedule, work is expected to be 10 to 20 hours per week. We can work with academic departments to create for-credit internship opportunities. Great experience for students interested in getting hands-on experience in fundraising, marketing, and public relations in a museum setting.
