Prepare for the Fair Week is designed to help students feel confident and ready to make the most of their career fair experience. From resume reviews to elevator pitch practice, we offer a full week of events to ensure you’re prepared to network and impress recruiters.
Students who attend a Prepare for the Fair Week event (February 9–16) or complete a CRE coaching appointment will earn Raider Access. It’s an early entry pass that allows you to enter the career fair 30 minutes before general admission.

Career Fairs can feel fast-paced, loud, and overwhelming for many students. This session focuses on understanding why these environments can trigger nerves and negatively affect your experience within large career spaces. Students will learn strategies to manage nervousness and stress at the career fair, as well as where they can get additional support. Open to all students.
When: February 10th 2026 | 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Whether you have attended a career fair before or not, the experience can feel overwhelming. Join the Office of Career Resources and Exploration in partnership with Braven for the Career Fair Success Strategies Workshop, where you will gain insider tips on making the most of your career fair experience. Discover key strategies for networking with employers, refining your elevator pitch, and maximizing your career fair opportunities.
When: Wednesday, February 11th 2026 | 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Where: Engelhard Hall, Rm 100
Learn how to navigate the career fair successfully as an international student at this specialized workshop. You will gain valuable tips on how to leverage your unique skills, find and effectively communicate with employers, and understand work authorization topics!
When: Thursday, February 12th 2026 | 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
