What are your future career goals?: I hope to become a NICU RN and, after gaining a year or two of hospital experience, go back to school to become a nurse practitioner.

What’s one piece of college/career advice you wish more Rutgers-Newark students knew?:  I wish more Rutgers-Newark students knew it’s okay if you are unsure about your major. College is all about trying new things and having new experiences; it’s better to change your major in college than realize you hate it after graduation. This will result in you feeling unsatisfied with your job or having to go to college again.

Something unique about me: As a child, jumping from the high dive board was one of my greatest thrills. One summer, my older brother took me to the YMCA every Saturday, where I gained confidence and cherished our time together.

What are your future career goals?: I aim to create a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting underserved urban communities through workforce development, self-empowerment, and financial literacy programs.

What’s one piece of college/career advice you wish more Rutgers-Newark students knew?: A new major can ignite a passion for learning and a commitment to mastering your chosen field, transforming your college experience into an exciting adventure.

What’s one piece of college/career advice you wish more Rutgers-Newark students knew?: I am constantly telling new students to get involved on campus! Networking is so important and can help you succeed as a student here at Rutgers-Newark.

Something unique about me: I know around eight languages, and I am fluent in four, including Sanskrit, which is an ancient language.

What are your future career goals?: I plan to specialize in vaccine development and gene therapy and hopefully pursue a PhD in the field.
