Keystone Autism Services is seeking Employment and Integrated Supports Specialists to provide support to young adults living with autism in planning, preparing for, and achieving employment and/or post-secondary education while developing increased independence as part of a meaningful, everyday life.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide one-on-one support in the community and in the home, in accordance with objectives identified in the Individual’s service plan.
- Coordinate the development of strategies that give individuals the opportunity to develop career-related interests and goals.
- Engage and work with collaboratively with families with life course planning.
- Facilitate continuing education for the individual as identified and assist as needed.
- Support Individuals in obtaining and maintaining employment.
- Provide evaluation and mediation between employer and employee post job placement.
- Provide integrated support and collaborate with community partners as a liaison between the individual and providers when necessary.

- Starting hourly wage of $21.00
- This position provides services primarily throughout Lehigh County; however, services may continue into surrounding counties.
- Local travel on a daily basis is required. Travel reimbursement is available.

Minimum Educational Requirements: (One of the following)
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, social work, education or other related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field with one year paid work experience with adults and/or adolescents in the human services field.
- Associate’s degree, or sixty credit hours, plus 2 years paid work experience with adults and/or adolescents in the human services field.
Additional Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills; attention to detail and follow-through.
- Knowledge and ability to use computer applications and programs.
- Valid driver’s license, ability to drive on a daily basis, and daily access to a properly insured vehicle.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One – two years of experience working with youth and/or adults living with autism.
- Experience in teaching vocational and/or skills of daily living.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with Lehigh County and available community resources.
