The Rosch lab is looking for a postdoctoral scientist with an interest in host-pathogen interactions and/or antibiotic resistance. We are I looking for candidate with a PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or related field. Ideal candidates will have proven expertise in bacterial genetics, molecular techniques, and/or pathogenesis studies and excellent communication skills. Individuals should have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment. Research will focus on understanding the genetic basis of antibiotic resistance in Streptococcus pneumoniae as well as mechanistic studies of virulence.
