Volunteering as a respite caregiver is a great way to help out your community and a very fulfilling role. If you can offer quality companionship to a person with memory impairment or a disabling condition, we want your help! Respite volunteers provide non-medical companionship, supervision and a friendly face, to a person with special needs, so that the caregiver can receive a break from caregiving. This could be an hour a week, or three hours for one day a month. We will work with your time restraints.
