Open to all RU-N students by appointment, from Monday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, this resource provides free professional headshots to help you stand out in today’s competitive job market.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Login to your Rutgers Handshake account with your NetID and password. Click Career Center on the left navigation menu.
  2. Click on Appointments from your Career Center’s page, located below the school name.
  3. To request a new appointment, click the Schedule a New Appointment button in the upper-left of the page.
  4. Click on Additional Services, then click on Raider Headshot Studio. A list of available appointment dates will appear based on the category and type selected.
  5. Select the Appointment Medium from the dropdown menu (default: In-Person, Engelhard Hall, Suite 101), then enter details about the appointment in the “What can we help you with?” section. When you’re ready, click the green Request button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
  6. You’ll be taken to the appointment overview page, where you can add comments before the appointment, or cancel the appointment by clicking the red button Cancel.

Currently all eligible Rutgers University–Newark undergraduate and graduate students can utilize the Raider Headshot Studio.

We understand life happens, however, when participants fail to appear at programs, interviews, or appointments that require pre-registration, it is unfair to potential participants who wanted to attend but could not due to a waitlist. If you need to cancel, please be sure to do so with advance notice.
